The Westpark, responsible for the district's name, is one of the largest and most modern green areas of the city. .There are many small shops along the Waldfriedhofstraße, and the industrial area of "Hansapark" can be found in the north-east. Still, the connection to the public transport is ensured: Via the U-Bahn line U6 at stations Partnachplatz, Westpark and Holzapfelkreuth, one can reach the city center and the outskirts within a matter of minutes.
In this green quarter, one will find mostly detached houses with gardens, but also a few multi-story residential buildings.Westpark is a very green and mostly quiet residential quarter. Similar offers can be found in the districts Sendling, Laim and Hadern.
