Langwied is located approx. 14 km west of Munich (city center) and can be traced back to a settlement from the 13th century. Its name means "near the long woods".

The small village is mostly surrounded by fields and farms. Langwied's residential and rental properties are also characterized by its rural setting. All shops for your daily needs and a few restaurants can be found in the small town. The public transport connection to Munich is quite good. The S-Bahn station of the lines S4 and S20 is located on Leienfelsstraße, allowing you to reach Munich's city center in a matter of minutes.
There are also nice apartment offers in Aubing, Lochhausen and at Westkreuz.
