Lerchenau is very well connected to public transport: both the U3 Oberwiesenfeld station and the Munich-Fasanerie S-Bahn station are within easy walking distance.
After the two world wars, this area experienced a great influx of people. Therefore, at the end of the 1960s a large housing estate with multi-story apartment buildings was built at Lerchenauer See, which today also houses some beautiful apartments. Other beautiful properties are also available in Feldmoching, Hasenbergl and Am Hart.
