While Mittersendling is not directly in the city center, it can be reached easily via the U-Bahn stations U3 Brudermühlstraße and U6 Harras, as well as the S-Bahn station Mittersendling. The middle ring road (Mittlerer Ring) offers access to the local and long-distance traffic network. Because of the major intersection at "Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz", the traffic concentration is quite high, however, the many side streets also offer very quiet residential areas.
There are mainly older apartment buildings and cooperative housing estates, which also offer many apartments. The district is mainly known as a residential area, so the location is quiet and therefore ideal for living. Apartment offers are also available in the neighboring districts of Sendling, Harras, Obersendling and Thalkirchen.
