In the year 1818 Fahrenzhausen received the status of a politically independent municipality in the course of an administrative reform. Today the village has about 4,800 inhabitants and, thanks to its rural location, offers a quiet residential area with beautiful furnished rentals.
Fahrenzhausen has both a kindergarten and a primary school. There is also no shortage of beautiful local recreation areas: both the Mallertshofer Holz with Heiden and the Weichser Moos invite to extensive walks. A special monument in the village is the striking St. Georg church, which was extensively renovated in 2018 and attracts numerous visitors.
Fahrenzhausen is conveniently located near both the B13 and the A9, making both Munich and Munich Airport easy to reach.
