The municipality of Moosinning with about 3,200 inhabitants is located in the Munich region in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding. Located in the neighborhood of the state capital Munich and the district capital Erding, which is only 6 km away, the residents are offered a variety of sporting, church and cultural leisure activities.

The eastern airport bypass runs directly east of Moosinning and, in addition to relieving the village of through traffic, also offers an optimal connection to the 92 and 94 freeways.
There are four childcare facilities in the community, as well as an elementary school with the community library in the same building.
Between 1634 and 1650 many inhabitants of the village died of the plague. In honor of Saints Sebastian and Rochus, the plague chapel was built in 1651 by eleven survivors. On the occasion of the 350th anniversary, the chapel was extensively renovated in 2001.
There are also good offers for furnished rentals in the surrounding municipalities of Erding, Aschheim and Hallbergmoos.
