Baldham is part of the municipality of Vaterstetten and is located approx. 19 km east of Munich (city center) and 15 km west of Ebersberg. The community has 22,400 residents and consists of two parts: the village of Baldham, which forms the historic center around the Catholic branch church of St. Korbinian, and the much larger, newly developed area around the S-Bahn train station.
