In general the area is quiet, yet well-connected to the outskirts and the city center. All common facilities of public life, as well as several apartments for rent can be found in Poing. There are numerous municipal facilities for young and old, and Poing also has a lot to offer in the way of culture. In addition, Poing is currently an up-and-coming business site thanks to its location. The well-known, vast wildlife park Poing, where one can marvel at local wildlife in natural compunds, attracts visitors from Munich and beyond. The S-Bahnn network can be accessed via the station Poing on the train line S2, which runs every 20 minutes in the direction of the city center or the more distant adjacent outskirts. The airport can be reached in about a half hour via the eastern airport bypass road.
The residential area is generally quiet, with good connections to the outer districts as well as to the city center. The development is quite varied and offers some nice properties for temporary rental, from furnished apartments to single and multi-family houses. There is also a large supply of available properties in Feldkirchen, Aschheim and Markt Schwaben.
