This quiet district is especially attractive for families due to its location in the middle of nature. The connection to the city center remains guaranteed despite the quiet location: The tram lines 15 and 25 provide connections to numerous stops of the U1, U2, U4 and U5, from where all stations of the local transport system in Munich can be reached.
At the beginning of the 20th century, this villa settlement with spacious plots of land was built. Some of the gardens were later subdivided and built on with upscale apartment buildings. Today this quarter offers some of the most beautiful properties. The Menterschwaige adjoins the quarter Harlaching and is situated directly on the high bank of the Isar. Therefore, apartments can also be found in other beautiful districts with a green location such as Harlaching, Untergiesing and Thalkirchen.
