This quarter, with its beautiful turn-of-the-century buildings and less attractive post-war buildings in between, used to be the bohemian side of town. The northern part of Schwabing also offers many excellent locations and properties for rent. Aside from this, the quarter is dominated by the municipal hospital Munich Schwabing, which combines various clinics. The nearby Luitpoldpark is a large recreation area in northern Schwabing. The public pool Ungererbad is located more to the east and provides opportunities for relaxation, especially in the summer. The U-Bahn line U3 at the stations Scheidplatz and Bonner Platz connect northern Schwabing to public transport: Both the city center and the outskirts can be reached in a matter of minutes.
