Josephsplatz is located right on the border to the neighboring quarter Schwabing and is defined by the magnificent baroque building of the church of St. Joseph. In contrast to the high building density in Maxvorstadt however, there is a spacious open square in front of the church, which houses the Franziskus fountain and a small playground. The area offers many very nice properties for apartment rental and benefits from the central location: All shops for your daily needs and many restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. Furthermore, Maßmannpark is another beautiful, albeit small, green space right outside your door. The nearby Nordbad also offers space and opportunities for physical activity. Although the parking situation in Schwabing is tense, residents around Josephsplatz have been able to enjoy the privilege of their own underground parking garage for several years now, which has improved the situation significantly. The square Josephsplatz itself is located right next to the U-Bahn station of the line U2, which ensures a fast and easy connection to the city center.
