The train station Munich-Neuaubing connects the district to local- and long-distance transport. There are also several metro bus lines in Aubing, connecting it to Munich's U-Bahn network.
Aubing combines a location in nature with many opportunities for temporary living close to the city. In this village, which was incorporated in the 1940s, there are a number of residential buildings with apartments - both high-rise and detached houses with gardens - as well as a number of managed farms and industrial facilities, such as those belonging to Deutsche Bahn. Aubing is also known as a family-friendly district with a lively club life and several schools.
