Rental offers in Garching
Today Garching has a wide range of cultural offerings: events, theater productions, and concerts that usually take place in the cultural center (Kulturhaus) or the Theater im Römerhof. Hochbrück is a predominantly industrial area. Ever since Germany's first research reactor was built in 1957, which is long since decomissioned, many reseach facilities have moved here, including several from the Technical University Munich and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. The research center has brought national and international renown to Garching. Two underground stations of line U6 connect Garching to public transport: The city center can be easily reached from the stations Garching and Garching-Forschungszentrum. The nearby access road to the motorway A9 connects garching to the transport network.
Garching offers a convenient and yet quiet location for temporary living. If you have not found a suitable furnished apartment here, then it is worth taking a look at the neighbouring communities Ismaning, Oberschleißheim and Eching.
