Fröttmaning is located approx. 11 km north of Munich (city center) between the English Garden in the east and Neuherberg in the west.

Despite its location on the northern outskirts, Fröttmaning is very well-connected to the city center via underground line U6 at "Fröttmaning". Additionally, an on-ramp to the interchange "München Nord" connects Fröttmaning to several destinations within the region or outside.
The former village Fröttmaning was given up in the 60s, yet there are still some buildings that have been preserved such as the church "Heilig Kreuz Kirche". The "Auensiedlung" on the banks of the river Isar, with the mosque of Munich and the settlement of "Fröttmaninger Heide" with modern and welcoming apartment houses with yards. There are also attractive offers in the surrounding districts of Freimann and Kieferngarten.
