The fully equipped 2-room apartment is located on the mezzanine floor of the villa, which dates back to 1838/39. The brothers and architects August and Friedrich von Thiersch redesigned the building in 1873/74. The history of the house is characterized by many changes: originally built as an talian-style palazzo for the Serbian prince Welimir Michail Theodorowitsch, it later served as the Grand Hotel Bayerischer Hof and then as a police station.
Today, after extensive renovation and refurbishment, the Palazzo Villa shines in new splendor. It impresses with high ceilings, light-flooded rooms, stucco decorations and terraced gardens behind the house, which offer a magnificent view of Lake Tegernsee and the surrounding mountains.
